There are few things that Graham likes to do more than advocate for his clients. Graham has nearly three decades of trial experience that he can provide in your case.

Most recently, Graham worked for the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of North Carolina. As an Assistant United States Attorney for 19 years, Graham tried numerous cases in the Middle District and has trial experience in both the Eastern and the Western Districts of North Carolina. Graham has also argued several cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

As a federal prosecutor, Graham also oversaw federal investigations, including the use of investigative grand juries. Graham participated in the investigation and prosecution of federal cases including robbery, conspiracy, narcotics distribution, firearms offenses, national security cases, fraud, theft of intellectual property, and trade secrets. During his time in the United States Attorney’s Office, he held a number of positions including National Security / Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council Coordinator, Criminal Discovery Coordinator, and Senior Litigation Counsel.

Prior to his career as a federal prosecutor, Graham worked as a state prosecutor for North Carolina. As an Assistant District Attorney, he gained valuable jury trial experience in Superior Court, trying multiple serious felony cases including First Degree Murder cases, some of which were also Death Penalty eligible. Graham’s experience as a state prosecutor also included offenses involving drug trafficking, armed robberies, firearms, death by motor vehicle, Driving While Impaired, aggravated assaults, and domestic violence assaults.

Graham is a veteran. He joined the North Carolina National Guard as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps officer in 1998. Concurrent with his civilian career, he served 23 years in the military, including two deployments to the Middle East. Graham rose to the rank of Colonel and the position of Staff Judge Advocate with the North Carolina National Guard. As a JAG officer, he oversaw and handled both the defense and prosecution of service members. He also oversaw dozens of complex administrative investigations, and his military career culminated with advising senior leadership of the North Carolina National Guard on legal matters.

Graham lives in Winston-Salem with his wife, son, and daughter. He is an active member of his church in Winston-Salem and a volunteer with his son’s Scouting America Troop.
